Facility services is no more mere building and premise maintenance : It’s an area that incorporates just not only technical skills but also efficient management skill, that keeps the working of an organization smooth and hassle free. It takes lot of strategic planning and updated management practices in all the aspects of office management at the local, regional and global level. 

The facility management sector in India is a thriving US $ 12.5 billion industry as reported in the media and growing at a rate of 25% per annum. However over 95% of the Indian facility management industry is un-regulated requiring major reforms, recognition and organization. The Facility Management Industry needs recognition by the Government and is an area which the Association will take up. 

Facility Management Zone( FM Zone ), the forum of facility managers established in 2004, is an organization dedicated for the well being of the facility management staff across different industry in India. It’s a brain child of Five like minded professionals viz., Sunil V. ( Tavant Technologies), Sridhar Raghavendra ( Mphasis HP ), Ruphus V.
